  Training the mind

You can learn more about training the mind by attending lectures. The actual training is mostly carried out in “retreats”. In a retreat you join a group that “practices”. “Practicing” means carrying out mind exercises in silence. Retreats differ in duration from one day to a month.

True Buddhist teachers do not try in any way to convert you to become a Buddhist. I have participated in such retreats myself. I do believe in the Buddhist concept in The Leader’s Way and I practice but I am not a Buddhist. Even though I have worked with His Holiness for more than 15 years, His Holiness has never suggested that I should become a Buddhist.

You need to choose a  teacher or retreat with care. Some teachers that are not competent. You also have to remember that most teachers are not familiar with responsible  business practices as described in the “Leader’s Way”.
